My client had an accident and lost his pinky and index finger. This was a long time ago. Recently he has been getting numbing in his fingers mostly in morning. Do you have any suggestions on his grip. One thing I thought of after watching your video is when his hands are in the handles I could cue long fingers and make sure he is putting even pressure into the pads of the fingers. Long fingers might help him distribute the weight evenly. I was also planning to try some melt balls for the hands. |

Hi Susanna, I think your ideas are brilliant. Putting and feeling the reach of the palms at the metacarpals is a great idea. You might have to build that up with some sticky shelf liner around the strap perhaps. Doing release work will also be very helpful. Also doing some work ( maybe with the strap or the floor) into the heel of the hand and exploring weight at the pinky and thumb side would be valuable. I would also work on shoulder/humerus and forearm. Thanks, Jen |
