Erin, why did you use the overball under the pelvis when doing Footwork etc on the reformer |

Hi Samantha, Good question. Our bodies are strongest in our scoli curve and leg length discrepancy patterns. So, when you add an overball under the pelvis making the pelvis more unstable, you're able to see what pattern the body naturally likes to fall into. We can't fix something unless we know what pattern the body likes to fall into. Only then can we teach the body what new pattern we want it to live in. Hope that makes sense. Blessings, Erin Myers |

Hi Erin, I love your workshops!! So much to learn and you present it so authentic and fresh! Thanks for that! One question- the "magic button" - how do I locate it at a client? thanks and all the best! Silke |

Hi Silke, I'm glad you're enjoying my workshops. The "magic button" is L2, maybe L3 depending on the person. If your scoli clients is seated adn your run your hand along their lumbar spine, if they have a "magic button", you'll feel that vertebra stick more posteriorly than the rest. If that's the case, put your finger on that vertebra and tell them to pull it anteriorly. Blessings, Erin |
