Thank you, Adam for this very informative course! I have been able to apply these concepts in my sessions for my clients and they love it.
Loved the "real world" information and applications!
I like the incorporation of weights and pain science.
Appreciated the science, terms, and practical applications of this instruction. However, felt the pace was rather slow and it could have been 7 sessions rather than 10.
Very good workshop. Thank you!
I liked the ways to amp up the strengthening part of workouts. Maybe I missed it in the beginning, but a description of client's complaints and functional goals would have been helpful as a case study throughout the workshop. Thanks!
Great workshop! Thanks for focusing on some different topics regarding strength and Pilates and how to integrate different cues and exercise variations with clients.
I loved this workshop. The exercise science info/data was interesting and eye opening. Adam did a great job presenting everything very clearly and thoroughly. I'm inspired!
This workshop was amazing. Adam's ability to blend the principles with the movement while demonstrating the relevance to our client's needs was excellent. I fully appreciated the idea of bringing a 'gym goer' to the forum and translating the Pilates work at a functional level.
Enjoyed the workshop
great workshop, clear and easy to understand. Thank you!
great workshop
Great information and presented clearly.
Very informative course!
Thank you and the information provided was easy to understand especially since I was able to watch. I’m a visual learner so this was perfect for me.
Interesting to learn how exercise science principles can contradict our Pilates principles.
Practical information efficiently presented.
Great workshop! I am excited to put these principles into practice with my clients!
I enjoyed the adaptations of Exercise Science applied to the Pilates practice. I think Joseph Pilates was very intuitive but it is nice to be able to flesh out the method with current research.
I loved this course. Lots of practical ideas that can be implemented into my teaching straight away, in fact I've been using some of them for over a week now. I love learning about what the research says in regards to pain and injury and how to apply exercise science principles to Pilates. Thanks for making this course!
great workshop!
GREAT job Adam - really appreciate ACSM guidance.
Thank you so much for this informative class! It was great to see the strength training blended into the pilates repertoire. I'll definitely be trying some of these techniques with my clients!
This workshop provided clear instructions and options for cueing, progression of exercises and emphasis on evidence based principles for using Pilates for strength training and motor learning.
I really enjoyed this workshop. I'll be happy to do more workshops with Adam McAtee...
The workshop has made me aware of over cuing my clients. I also found the internal and external focus of attention interesting and that the internal focus can cause tension and the external uses less energy. It seems that Pilates is a lot of internal focus. I am looking forward to applying this principle in my sessions.
Great information! Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed the information regarding external cues and form/feedback for the clients!
Loved the explanation of internal/external cues.
Great explanations, examples, and cuing. Love the ideas!
very informative
It was good!
Thank you. It was really interesting, especially the internal and external cueing. I like to do something center before to do the other side.
good class - especially info on cueing
