Description

Join Elizabeth Larkam for Client Progressions. Learn to support your client in clarifying short and long term goals. Structure a reformer session to address each of these goals.

Provide detailed cues to facilitate beneficial movement progressions that align with these goals. Through the entire interaction establish a rapport with your client that supports them in movement, education, and empowerment.

Great for clients with spine dysfunctions aggravated by interaction with screen devices, 'Tech Neck' Clients who want to improve arm tone and functional upper body strength Clients who want to develop standing balance stability

Objectives

  • Learn to articulate short term goals and long term goals
  • Learn to sequence reformer movement progressions that address client's goals
  • Learn movement progressions that improve functional thoracic, cervical and head movement relationships
  • Learn movement progressions that improve foot and ankle proprioception for gait
  • Learn movement progressions that connect trunk control with standing balance

  •  How to organize the upper thoracic area to support head and neck comfort and ease
  • How to safely sequence for Reformer trunk control challenges
  • How to safely sequence for hip mobility
