About This Workshop

Chantill Lopez invites you to explore the new science of the Polyvagal Theory, its application to movement, and how it is the foundation of lasting behavioral change. 

Learn how to take your teaching beyond good technique and clear instruction and become comfortable facilitating deeper levels of inner awareness and therefore change in your students.

This information has been crafted into three sections: Be Curious, Be An Agitator, and Be Contrary and Consistent. 

Each section offers clear and accessible exercises, tools, and techniques around the what, why, and how of this not just whole-body, but whole-person approach to teaching.

Objectives

  • Develop an understanding of the ANS, Polyvagal Theory and its application to teaching movement.
  • Understand the concept of: co-regulation, dynamic, interpersonal and transformative teaching.
  • Become familiar with the terms: neuroception, interoception, benchmarking, scaffolding/wedging, open and generative questions.
