Your Assignment:
Things to Focus On
1.) State your theme or focus to your client.
2.) Play with the breath sequences in the exercises. There will always be a more natural sequence of breath for your client with each exercise. Try to find the sequences that are more challenging for them and see/ask how it changes the exercise.
3.) Pay attention to your client and let this lead the cues you give them. Also, communicate with your client. Get feedback from them to lead the session.
2 Personal Practice Hours:
Think about the Connecting the Dots concepts we’ve focused on in the last Observation Video, as well as Things to Focus On above. Do two practice hours with these concepts in mind.
2 Student Teaching Hours:
Now, plan two teaching sessions based on these same concepts. Teach these sessions to a friend or family member. Incorporate some of the verbal and hands-on cueing you’ve seen in the video. Try to make them your own.
Always treat these Teaching Hours the same as if you were in a studio teaching a paying client.
Don’t forget to log these hours in your Master Log!
