Your Assignment:
Things to Focus On
1.) Practice the flossing of the bones or the bone rhythms with your clients. Include the Magic Circle rotations you learned during observation.
2.) As your clients work one part of the body (ex: the feet), bring their attention to another part of the body that they can keep soft, relaxed, and heavy (ex: the shoulders, neck, etc.).
3.) Be creative! Did the observation video spark your creative juices? Create an exercise or cue to open your clients’ eyes to the wonder of the feet and the legs! Let us know what you came up with!
1 Personal Practice Hour:
Think about the Feet, Lower Limbs, and Gait concepts we’ve focused on in the last Observation Video and Session Video, as well as the Things to Focus On above. Do a practice hour with these concepts in mind.
3 Student Teaching Hours:
Now, plan three teaching sessions based on these same concepts. Teach these sessions to a friend or family member. Incorporate some of the verbal and hands-on cueing you’ve seen in the videos. Try to make them your own.
Always treat these Teaching Hours the same as if you were in a studio teaching a paying client.
Don’t forget to log these hours in your Master Log!
