Description
This workshop includes a review of the anatomy of the arches of the foot, how to activate the transverse arch, and how weight placement plays a pivotal role in the ability of our feet to interact with the ground.
Through different exercises exploring surface, loading of the foot, and weight transfer, the client can begin to appreciate and strategize ways to feel more connected and balanced. Using minimal props, and creative cueing designed to address muscular activation and body placement, you can follow Jen as she directs a client through various exercises designed to bring more awareness to how we use our feet and experience weight transfer in the body, ultimately creating better muscular balance and biomechanics in walking and running.
