About This Workshop

The foot and the pelvis directly influence one another. The more awareness and sensation a client has in their foot, the more integrated they are going to be throughout the entire kinetic chain. The reverse is also true; the more integrated someone is in their pelvis, and the more they can feel where their pelvis is in relation to the feet, the more integrated they are going to be in their movement practice.

In this online Pilates workshop, Jennifer Pilotti employs her upbeat, positive teaching style to explore the important connections between the feet and the pelvis with a new client in real-time.

You will learn how to sense and isolate movements of the foot, how the feet affect the pelvis, how the pelvis affects the feet, and how to integrate them for more efficient movement. Get the most out of your movement practice, and help clients do the same, by building awareness and connections between the pelvis and the feet.

Great integration into gait and movement!

I thought Jennifer was a cheerful and interesting teacher. However I didn't feel that this workshop really addressed what the title said it would. We saw lots of ways Katie had issues but she didn't really talk about specific weakness in the foot and/or pelvis and give clear exercises to fix them. I guess I was looking more for specific weaknesses in either the foot or pelvic area and then specific exercises to counter them.

Extremely helpful loved learning the small movements to look for.

I think this was a great hands on workshop. I liked the fact that her model did not do the exercises ahead of time so we could see the transformation in real time. Also Thanks for the PDF that helps to have pictures for later when I review it.

Thank you for creating this workshop. I am starting to appreciate the complex relationship between the foot, ankle and hip (and spine) and I enjoy seeing how different teachers explore and play with this relationship in their unique way. I do play with the push-pull with the feet and it's nice to have validation of what I have personally observed, and also wonderful to see your ideas on how to enhance that understanding of that relationship.

Really awesome ezercisea to facilitate awareness of feet to pelvis!

Really enjoyed the novel ideas for enhancing connections of the feet to the pelvis. Interesting to see Jennifer made use of props in place of some verbal cuing.
