This online Pilates workshop will teach you a brand new, innovative, easy and effective way to combine vibrational feedback to all areas of the body while incorporating movement and breath on the Reformer. Many of the exercises shown in the workshop can be easily transferred to the mat and used for a home program.

This work has lead to many movement break throughs for clients with Scoliosis, EDS, Hip and Knee Replacements, Post Surgical and Back Pain clients. But, this work is not just for your therapeutic clients. It will help your most adept mover to uncover and wake up what they are not using.

The workshop includes both classical and contemporary Reformer exercises in combination with the vibration. The exercises address every area of the body with a special focus on the breath, glenohumeral , scapulothoracic, pelvic/femur movement and foot and ankle mobilization.

Concepts & Techniques

  • Protocol for placement and use of the Ribbit with specific Reformer exercises on numerous parts of the body.
  • Techniques to create a preset for movement using the vibrational work.
  • Learn creative verbal cues for addressing numerous areas of the body while using vibration with movement.
  • Learn creative touch cues for addressing numerous areas of the body while using vibration with movement.
  • Learn optimal breathing techniques using the vibration as a guide.
  • Create a new map and sense for optimal glenohumeral, scapulothoracic and pelvic / femur movement.
  • Create a new map and sense for optimal foot and ankle mobilization.

Objectives

  • Learn to use vibration as feedback for awareness, better movement and optimal breath.
  • Learn to use the vibration to tune the body daily and keep it healthy for optimal movement.
  • Learn to use vibration to enhance hydration, cell regeneration and blood flow.
  • Learn to use the vibration to increase Proprioceptive and Interoceptive skills.
  • Learn to use vibration to optimize the classical and contemporary Pilates exercises.
