Join Jean Sullivan for this online Pilates workshop on how to use Pilates exercises to improve movement patterns typically used by personal trainers in a functional fitness training session. Learn a brief movement screen you can use to assess your client's functional movement patterns. Take a new look at Pilates exercises on the Reformer and Cadillac with an eye for how they can improve your client's functional movement patterns and their personal training sessions at the gym.

Feedback on Pilates Progressions for Functional Fitness Training

Very useful screening for working with clients coming from a gym/sports environment. This gave me lots of ideas for combining pilates with functional fitness exercises.

Fabulous class Jean! I am a personal trainer as well and love the FMS movement screening process. I just loved how you modified it for exercises on the reformer. I connected into everything you taught and absolutely LOVED your workshop.

Jean is an excellent teacher/educator! She has a deep understanding of appropriate cues for each exercise, which makes all the exercises more meaningful and effective. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise in this area. I have alot of clients who will benefit from this info.

Great info to help clients cross train their body and transition from the gym to the reformer and vice versa . It definitely helps figure out their compensation patterns and identify weak areas

Valualbe workshop! Very thorough in explaining why, how to cue and what to look for. Demonstration and retesting was so helpful. Thank you for this one!

Feedback is perhaps premature here as I have only viewed the workshop and have not yet put it to use, but it was all clearly presented and seems valuable in helping to fill in the missing link between the pilates and functional movement worlds. Thank you.
