Description
Do you know exactly what to do when a new client shows up for a private lesson with you and casually says they have scoliosis? You must be able to pivot on a dime from your normal initial lesson and in the snap of a finger know how to conduct and handle an initial scoliosis lesson. It’s one thing to understand the theory behind scoliosis corrective movements, but knowing exactly what to do in an hour lesson that will produce tangible results for the client so they book more lessons with you requires an entirely different skillset.
In this online Pilates workshop, Erin Myers will bring you through an actual hour lesson with a real scoliosis client so you can see the step-by-step process. After the session is over Erin takes the information she learned about her scoliosis client and uses it to create lesson plans for the next few lessons to teach you how to be confident about handling the follow-up lessons, which include muscle testing, in-studio exercises on Pilates machines, and client homework with no machinery.

" Erin's positivity and passion to help people with scoliosis is inspiring. This was helpful in preparing me for how to handle that first session and planning out the next few sessions. In past at times I've felt unsure exactly where to begin or how to organize a really cohesive session for scoliosis. "
