Improving Foot Mechanics to Changes the Core & Alignment

Your feet are the foundation for your body. If your feet have lost their flexibility and strength, it will affect your posture, your core, and your well-being.

In this online Pilates workshop, Lesley Powell will explore the anatomy and mechanics of the foot. By improving the function of your foot is the stepping stone to better fitness, posture, and gait. We are focusing especially on retraining the foot mechanics in relationship to posture and walking.

Concepts & Techniques

  • Techniques for training the muscles of feet and calves for home programs

  • Applications to Closed Chain: Standing and Gait
